Refund Policy

This policy covers subscriptions bought in the External Software store, such as Hark's. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Try before you pay

Hark's recording, transcription and speaker names are free, and a new account's first 3 recorded meetings and 1 imported recording get every Hark Pro feature free, so you can try them before you subscribe.

Cancel any time

You can cancel a subscription at any time on your account page. It stops renewing, and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Hark's free features keep working.

Refunds

• Your first payment: if you are not happy, email refunds@externalsoftware.com from your account email within 14 days of it, and we will refund it in full.
• Renewals and partial periods: not refunded, except where the law requires it. Cancel before a renewal if you do not want it.
• If we stop a paid feature or close your account for a reason other than a breach of our terms, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days after we approve them.
